ABA Therapy

ABA through Play!

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a research-based, child-centered therapy designed to improve social, communication, and behavioral skills. ABA therapy focuses on increasing positive behaviors and reducing behaviors that may hinder learning or development.

ABA strategies can help to:

  • Increase language and communication skills
  • Develop key social skills
  • Decrease maladaptive behaviors like aggression, elopement, or self-injury
  • Build upon inherent strengths to learn new skills
  • Improve focus, attention, and memory
  • Foster independence
  • Teach family and other caregivers how to create success at home

With a highly experienced, board-certified clinical team, we use ABA therapy to create a roadmap for each individual child, so we can help improve their overall quality of life. Every child’s journey in ABA is different but follows a consistent approach. First, we identify your concerns and development opportunities, set measurable and attainable goals for your child, and build a customized plan that will encourage positive changes.

Now this is where the fun comes in! We implement our goals through natural, play-based techniques that make learning fun! There is a lot a child can learn through play, and we believe that play is the bridge to learning, where imagination and skill development go hand-in-hand.

Many children benefit from a mix of individualized and group therapy. During your child’s consultation, we’ll discuss their learning style and needs in order to build a perfectly personalized plan and schedule.
